Celebrate Family Day Weekend on February 17-18, 2024 at the SLCC

Celebrate Family Day weekend* on Saturday, February 17, and Sunday, February 18 with engaging Indigenous experiences at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. Join a Guided Tour on the hour starting with a welcome drum song, or take a self-guided tour or a Scavenger Hunt through the Museum. Enjoy free craft activities and colouring stations in the Istken Hall. Enjoy family lunch in the Thunderbird Cafe and browse the Gallery and Gift Shop.

Cultural Programming:
Saturday, February 17

10 am – 4 pm Guided Tours in the Museum (Last tour at 3 pm before early closure at 4 pm)
11 am – 3 pm Join Ambassadors for free family craft activities in the Istken Hall
11 am, 1 pm FREE Dreamcatcher Workshop in the Istken Hall. Register below.

FREE Dreamcatcher Workshop
Time: 11 am, 1 pm
Recommended Age: 10+ Years+
Maximum: 20 Guests

Register for the FREE Dreamcatcher Workshop at 11 am or 1 pm, and weave together a vibrant dreamcatcher with feathers, beads, sinew, and a suede-wrapped hoop.
