As our community members and local business partners often ask, “What can we do?”—here’s your chance to make a meaningful impact in reconciliation on the shared territory in Whistler.

The SLCC welcomes Sea to Sky businesses to donate experiences and products to the SLCC Online Auction. Community members and guests can bid on over a hundred experiences and products donated by the Sea to Sky business community supporting cultural revitalization through the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) in Whistler.

The Online Auction aims to raise both funds and awareness for the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, it’s impactful Indigenous Youth Ambassador program, and cultural revitalization. Featuring an array of donated products and experiences from our generous Sea to Sky business community – there’s something for everyone, with donations ranging from activities, fine dining and hotel stays to gift cards and gourmet gift boxes. Engage, connect and contribute to cultural revitalization at the SLCC through this impactful community fundraiser.

The auction will be live on Friday September 20 and run through Sunday, September 29, 2024. This gives a meaningful opportunity for guests to view auction items online and place final bids contributing to an impactful community fundraiser for an authentic Indigenous organization ahead of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Your participation will help us reach our goal of raising over $10,000 to support cultural programs and employment opportunities for local Nations.
