A must see in Whistler full of information through guided talks, immersive theatre (15 min movie), catalogued artifacts and even Bannock samples. A wealth of information and well worth the time spent there.Posted on Google![]()

We stopped by Sunday morning right after it opened and had the place almost to ourselves, which made it easy to take our time through the exhibits. The staff member who greeted us at the front desk ended up walking us through the canoe collection and explained the carving process in a way that really stuck with us. The big windows overlooking the forest give the whole building a calm, open feeling that fits the subject matter perfectly. Parking was free and easy right out front, which we always appreciate when we're out sightseeing for the day.Posted on Google![]()

Don't miss this fabulous little museum when you're in Whistler. A brilliant opportunity to learn more about the people who lived here first and are working to bring their skills and language back to the next generation. Hourly free guided tours really brought it to life. Our guide was fabulous. So warm and personable and knowledgeable with a clear love and respect for his heritage. We ate lunch in the cafe too and it was absolutely delicious. We shared the salmon chowder and venison chilli. Both amazing!!
