Thunderbird Café

Discover our Indigenous-inspired menu selection of affordable daily specials made with fresh local ingredients, and featuring Spirit Bear Coffee. Guests enjoy a comfortable and interactive environment while being served by our experienced Café Ambassadors. Our regular daily specials include Bannock Tacos, Venison Chili and Salmon Chowder.

The Thunderbird Café also offers free wireless internet, making it a perfect place to work remotely, have a casual business meeting, or a catch up with friends and family.

Visitors often stop at the Thunderbird Café before or after experiencing the museum exhibits and guided tours.

How to find the Café

On Blackcomb Way, enter through the SLCC main entrance and go to the lower level, or visit us through the Istken Hall entrance on Lorimer Road.

Spo7ez Catering – the SLCC’s in-house Catering Department specializes in local seafood, free-range game meat, and bannock, baked fresh daily. We use traditional ingredients that are prepared and presented with a modern flair. All-inclusive menu packaging allows us to work with you in seamless ease from menu planning to on-site event execution.
